Assistant Professor PhD Panko Mitev

 
Assistant Professor PhD Panko MitevPanko Mitev was born in 1962 in Choba, Plovdiv. He acquired his High School Diploma from a Technical High School of Mechanics, Plovdiv where he majored in Technology of Machine Engineering. In 1987, he received a Master’s degree from the University of Food Technologies (UFT) in Plovdiv where he majored in Equipment and Technology for the Food Industry. After graduation he started work at Periferna Technika SO, Plovdiv as a constructor. At the beginning of 1989, there was an enrollment contest for a PhD student at the Department of Technology of Wine and Beer at UFT, which Panko Mitev won and thus became a full-time PhD student. He completed his PhD degree in 1999. In 2000, he became an Assistant Professor at the same department and taught lecture and lab courses in Technological Equipment for the Wine Industry and Plant Planning for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree candidate students. Last but not least, since 2004 Mitev is a member of the Chamber of Design Engineers in Investment Design which offers a wide range of information in all fields of the wine industry.
