Statute of Union of Brewers in Bulgaria (UBB)

 
/5/ Membership is voluntary and does not restrict the participation of members in other legal entities and organizations.
/6/ Admitting new members to the Union is done in accordance with the rules adopted by the General Assembly.

Article 9. Abolished.

Article 10. /1/ Membership is terminated:

1. upon an unilateral entreaty by the Union;
2. in case of death or juridical disability;
3. upon the dissolution of the juridical person;
4. upon dismissal;
5. upon the termination of the Union.

/2/ Any member can leave the Union at any time by addressing a written application to the Managing Board.

Article 11. Abolished.

Article 11а.  The legal successors of a member of the Union, after its transformation, may become members without being subject to the procedure described in Article 27, paragraph 1, item 8 in relation to Article 20, paragraph 1, item 4, in case they meet the requirements of Article 8, paragraph 2 or paragraph 3, announce their request in writing, and agree to abide by the Statutes.

Article 12. /1/ Members of the Union have the following rights:

1. to participate in the management of the Union personally or through a legal representative;
2. to be informed about the Union’s activities;
3. to take advantage of the property of the Union, the results of its activities, and the accumulated information. For that purpose the interested member addresses a request to the General Secretary of the Union, who must give his or her approval;
4. to receive a document for membership in the Union;
5. to freely submit ideas, proposals, considerations, etc. related to the Union’s activities to the Union’s management, and to be present at the respective discussion;
6. to participate in the initiatives, activities, and events of the Union.

/2/  Regular and associated members have the right to propose honorary members for election to the Managing Board.

Article 13. /1/ Members of the Union are obliged to:
1. participate actively in the attainment of the Union’s goals and mission;
2. abide by the present Statutes and execute the decisions of the bodies of the Union;
3. observe professional ethics while executing their primary obligations and not to lower the reputation of the Union;
